For patients looking to replenish volume and fill out wrinkles, Dr. Rosenblatt at Lenox Hill Plastic Surgery Center in Manhattan has over 25 years of experience and offers Juvederm treatments.

What is Juvederm?

Juvederm is one of the newest hyaluronic acid facial fillers created to enhance lip definition and fullness as well as enhance fine lines around the mouth. Juvederm has the highest concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid of any dermal filler, which works to create a smooth consistency gel that flows easily into the skin to provide amazing results. Juvederm is an effective, non-surgical treatment that can last for up to six to nine months.

How is Juvederm performed?

Juvederm is injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts with an ultra-fine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort. The procedure is simple and quick, and results are almost immediate. A topical numbing cream can be used prior to the procedure to minimize discomfort. Juvederm is also used in conjunction with Botox to maximize results.

What can I expect after Juvederm?

As with any facial injectable, some patients may experience swelling or mild pain at the injection site. Most patients report little to no pain and no downtime. Patients should avoid rubbing the treated area, as well as stay out of sunlight for the few days after your treatment.

How much does Juvederm cost?

For questions about financing, ask to speak with our Surgical Consultant at your appointment. They can discuss all fees and costs with you.
