Nonsurgical option for facial and neck tightening

ThermiLift™ for tightening the lower face and neck

Not ready for a facelift? Looking for a minimally invasive way to tighten the skin of your face and neck?

If you have skin laxity of the face or have neck jowls and are not yet ready for a face lift, ThermiLift™ offers a new minimally invasive option using radiofrequency technology for subdermal heating to lift, tighten, and rejuvenate the lower face and neck.

Dr. William Rosenblatt, a board-certified plastic surgeon at Lenox Hill Plastic Surgery Center, is among the first NYC plastic surgeons to offer the ThermiLift™ procedure. He has been asked by the manufacturer to be on the company’s Clinical Advisory Council and to teach other physicians how to use this technology.

Light-based treatments like lasers and intense pulsed light (IPL) don’t penetrate tissues deeply enough to get desired skin tightening without damaging the skin surface. With ThermiLift™, a tiny probe heats the deepest layer of the skin causing it to shrink. Noticeable skin shrinkage usually occurs over a 4-month period after the procedure. This procedure is not for everyone. If you have very poor skin tone, a surgical option might be preferable for you.

This procedure may be used as an adjunct to liposuction if excess fat is present. It is usually performed under local anesthesia; however, in some cases, more sedation may be preferred. There are no incisions with this procedure—only tiny needle-like holes that usually heal without sutures or scars.
